Reunions & other garbage
So I don't have time but I'm spending this whole day traveling to see various family members. I haven't seen any of them in 2 or 3 years. There have been babies born that are now toddlers... I need to go but I also need to finish writing five mini-essays this week & was originally planning on dedicating my entire weekend to that as we are going down again next weekend for a wedding (friends this time not family so no two birds w/ one stone deal). So next weekend is shot as well and then... this term is over. But I tried to beg off & got to feeling really guilty like I couldn't just give up ONE damn day (that's an awful lot these days!) so I said I'd go. I figured I could work on the way down but now... I'm driving so that's scratched as well. *sigh*
I'm not feeling really uptight about it though as they're only mini-essays and I think (hope?) the writing style is encouraged to be more journal like and so I can do that in my sleep practically...
Once again with the almost 2 weeks since I've taken my exams & still no results. This happens every damn time & when I finally contact them they claim they sent me the results... whatever. You didn't. I have a feeling I'll need to take advantage of a retake on one and this means it's rather important that I get my results to find out so I have time to order the damn retake. I'm getting really frustrated by these online classes that don't take advantage of the fact that they're online & things don't need to be this dragged out and crazy.
But... whatever. Just getting through it. (and commenting on the evals every time. It's nice to see that a prof I'd had before is now doing his exams online. thanks. maybe it was my thoughtful and well-worded comments... maybe it wasn't. I'd like to think I had something to do with that. I'm taking him again in October.)

Wake up from dreaming and still half asleep, I sigh and think, "well, it took you long enough to show up." It was a good dream.
